I'm getting it tomorrow, when I get it installed, I'll let you know (about everything, esp. if the installation is successful). |

That would be great. When you do, i would like to know how good the picture quality is (grainy?choppy?)? |

Okay, I got the DC10+ today. First I installed the software (Studio DC10+) and that was no big deal. Then I installed the card. It was a lot easier and troublefree than I thought, I just popped it in and Windows did the rest (but, it seems like a lot of other user have had a hard time installing the card). So far, I haven't really done much, I've only done video input. I captured some video on the BETTER setting and played it back, it looked really good (but the true test will come when I output it). However, Studio is quite limited. So I decide to take the imported video to Premiere (5.1c). The video looked choppy and interlaced in Premiere, even after rendering with deinterlace on. I'll post again when I start doing video output and more stuff with it, but don't count on it right away, I'm so busy with Christmas and all ('tis the season). I'll let you know how everything goes. http://members.home.com/funkymunkey/cool.avi (Clip of Steve and me discussing tea, Hi8 thr/ DC10+)Here's a really compressed clip I made on the DC10+, don't worry so much about it's quality, but look at the smooth motion that I got. When I post I'll put some more (hopefully better) clips up. Til then, David (the funkymunkey) [This message has been edited by funkymunkey (edited 12-21-1999).] [This message has been edited by funkymunkey (edited 12-21-1999).] | |
