I'm in the process of building a computer. I'd like to use it partly for non-linear editing. I'm looking for a video card that would allow me to do editing, let me play games (OpenGL/DirectX), and be able to play DVD's. Would I be better off getting two video cards meaning one for desktop editing and one for games/dvd or an all in one? Any suggestions? It would be a big plus if Adobe Premiere supported this card also. Thanks! |

The ATI All-In-Wonder card will do what you want... but I don't recommend editing analog video that way. If you are serious about editing, purchase a digital video interface card and go to town. BTW, I have both cards in my PC.------------------ - Bill Carpenter Athena Productions |

unfortunately analog (s-vhs) is the only way to go. i dont have access to anything digital and i cant afford it anyways. i've heard mixed reviews for the ati rage pro and the ati all in wonder in the archives. |
