I have a digital camera now. Ill be getting Premeire soon. Can I film on my camera, put the raw footage on tape, put the tape in my VCR and then put it from the VCR to my computer?

Or must I go straight from my camera to my computer???!!!

you can do all that but why? If you do you'll probably get worse results then if you went straight from the camera.
