OK, maybe the flu medicine is getting to my head, but is there such a thing as a Firewire and composite (inputs) card that doesn't cost $3000? I've done some online research, but all I've gotten is a bunch of business gobbledygook, and no straight answers. Anyway, thought some of you would know..now I'm going to go lay down again....

The DV500 from Pinnacle has both types of input jacks. I'm not sure about the price, but I know it's under $1000. Check www.pinnalesys.com or www.videoguys.com .

The DVRaptor has both. They just released a patch that lets you input analoge through the Vid. 1 connections. You can get the card and Premeire LE for like 425.00 or so.
