Topic: DV Capture w/ ATI AWP???

Hello,
I'm filming something in DV, which I've never used before, and I was wondering if one can capture thru regular RCA cables with DV. If so, does this work??? Also, is it possible to capture w/ s-video? I just have an All-in-Wonder PRO so can this capture DV? If not, HOW DO I CAPTURE!?!?!

Depends on your camera. The prosumer cameras like the VX1000 have S-Video and RCA jacks, so you can export and capture to an analog card. You may lose a little bit of quality, but nothing worth worrying about. If your camera only has a 1394 jack in it, then you've got a problem. Try to find another device you can run it through (although again you'll lose quality) or see if you can borrow a different MiniDV cam to play your tape back through.------------------
