I'm looking for a good video capture card to go with premire and I've heard a lot about DC10+. Is it any good and how much does it cost?

I don't know what price you Americans would pay for the DC10+, but I'd guess somewhere around 600 bucks or so.

I recommend the DC30+, or even better, Miro's DV500 which enables firewire-capture.

If you're interested in firewire capture I'd recommend this one. But the DC30+ is working fine for me.

I wouldn't bet on the Dc10+, though.

Actually the DC10 and DC30 are almost identical. The actual capture cards are exactly the same, the only reason you have to pay more for the DC30 is because it comes with Premiere the DC10 comes with its own editing software (which isn't really that bad, it does all your basic stuff and is very easy to use). However if you're dead set on getting Premiere, you may as well get the DC30.

I have the DC10+. It works great with Premiere although you can't capture or export directly from Premiere (that's fine because you can just use AVI_IO to capture and export). The DC10+ is only about $200. I highly recommend this card if you're on a budget and already have Premiere.
