ok...my problem is this. whenever i use video captured through the dc10+ with premiere, i get no sound. basically: no sound in premiere, even when i render audio and export. i also made sure "export audio" was checked. any ideas?

I have a dc30 plus, so it may be different, but try this. Goto start--->settings--->control panel. Click on a button/icon that says "Multimedia". A screen box should pop up with various fill-in boxes and properties. Under "recording" there should be a drop-down list containing all the sound inputs. Check the one corresponding to the card. It could be something like "Miro..." or "DC 10..." or "Pinnacle Sys" or "Capture card.." etc.

u missunderstand....i capture sound fine. when i play back the avi's that i captured, the sound is there. its just that when i try to work on the clips in premiere, there is no sound. even when i render and export.
