Hello, I have the Studio 400, it is actully really good (despite what others might say) It is very easy to work with. I added some great looking Bullets/Flares to a scene and did a great Lightsabre test. You should really think about getting this thing it is great! |

Wait a sec!!!!!!!I also own Studio 400. I bought it a year or so ago with high expectations. To my dismay, I was greatly disappointed. The box says it can be used with any VCR and camcorder with a remote but it doesn't work that way. Your video camera has to have a time code (usually Hi-8 camcordrs have them) which I didn't have at the time so I had to buy one and I also had to get a special editing VCR $400 bucks because it doesn't work with all VCR's. If you already own these things then it might work okay. It's still very difficult to get sound effects to work properly and CD tracks usually skip when the scenes cut. Just wanted to let you know. i dont recomend it at all the caputred video looks like crap and the color doesnt look any good. I recomend FireWire if you have a digital camera or DC 10 or 30. They will end up making oyur video looks better and if you really want a studio 400 i will sell you mine------------------ CIA Productions |

Hahaha!!! This thing is great, Yes I did buy it a regular store (Computer City) I belive it was $299.00 (Canadian). You can add things in easily! When it captures video it makes it look kind of crappy on screen but when you export it to tape it is the original quality. This gadget is great! Hey, Cheap Movie Guy, If you want I can tell you how to do the flashes, just e-mail me: LHultinA@aol.com Thanks! |

I own studio 400 and it is a peice of crap, I bought it with really high expectations and I was very disappointed, I have had it for a year and a half and I still cant the stupid thing to work. All you can do is add titles and some crappy transitions. I would recommend that you save your money and try to buy Adobe Premiere, its so much better.------------------ "Without movies we have no escape from reality." Matt |
