I have recently reinstalled win98 and dc10+ on my computer. Now I can't capture! Well I can but it drops alot of frames, even at the lowest quality (500kb/s). Before I reinstalled I could capture at 1800kb/s without dropping frames. Does anybody know what the probem might be? Please help. I also know there is special forums for pinnacle users but I can't find it. Adress?

Here we are, two people from Sweden conversating in english Try defragging your harddrive. You should also post what kind of hardware you have, that makes it easier to help. I think the url you´re looking for is www.pinnaclesys.com ,they have special support forums.

My hardware:
Pentium III 500MHz, 128RAM, Abit BE6 motherboard, Diamond Viper (700?)TNT2ultra 32Mb, Soundblaster PCI 128, 2x13,5Gb UDMA66 harddrives, DC10+

Now I have formatet my system harddrive and will reinstall it all. I hope it will work now, but it still would be nice to know what the problem was...

And thank you for the help!

HI

I have the same problem. the difference is that i have a DC20+. I contacted Pinnacle Systems, and enquired about drivers for 98 / 2000 / NT, and they said that they only wrote drivers for 95.

I am a bit annoyed that the won't write more drivers.

Let me know how you go with the DC10+

Thanks guys!
Well I formated my systemdisk and installed win95 and now it works fine.
Do they really only write drivers for win95? In the manual there are instructions for installing with win98, but I can't get it to work. Good ol' 95 rules!

I think the reference to '95 was only for the DC20.

All times are ET (US)
