Hi..i need to make a guy get electrecuted when he touches a button. How can I make the electric current look like it is running through his body using only Final Cut Pro and Photoshop.....thank you

HiWe had a quite similar effect in one of our movies... You can find the making-of this effect in the "effect-archive" on our site... Maybe this'll help you...

I saw an article where someone used a very simple illustration program to do this effect. They drew blue lighting bolt shaped lines coming from a single point then used a blur tool on the lines to soften them, then they layered it over a section of film showing a man with his hand near an electrical outlet so the blured lines looked like they were coming out from the outlet. For such a simple technique it looked pretty good. |
