Topic: Faild to build preview graph????

when i go to capture video with msp 6 or video studio 4 it says faild to build preview graph. i can see the video up till when i hit the capture button, then it goes black and gives that mesage. dose anyone no what this means and how i can fix it. oh yea i use firewire and have a sony trv 315.

I used to get that all the time.Go into the device manager and select
your dv card driver(mine was texas instruments,pyro dv), make sure that the box saying Compatible with non compliant devices is selected, then re-boot, that worked for me. [This message has been edited by Paul D (edited 02-17-2001).] |

i did what u said but it didnt work. at the top of the device manager there is the texas on , and i did it to that and then down abit in the manager there is a msdv thing but it doesnt let you change that. so i dont know whats up, i can only capture video through video studio 3, i would rather use msp 6 or vid studio 4 to capture. but it lets me put teh video file back to tape from video studio 4, it just wont let me capter. if u got any ideas let me know what i could do. |

Have you downloaded the latest Pyro drivers &
also the media studio pro dv patch II file?. |
