Author Topic: Mp2 audio/video plugin needed Loring

for editing in Premiere. I can export it, but I can't import it. There is a very basic editor in tmpgenc but I'd like to be able to incorporate it into Premiere. Or if anyone knows any hackers that know how to make one. I'm sure everyone would be in debt of their help.

There's a plugin here called MPEG SoftEngine that supposedly allows import of mpeg2 into Premiere as well as export. It's possible it doesn't work on version 6, however, because I couldn't get it to import, only export. I think you have to copy the m2vimport.prm file into the Premiere Plugins directory.

If anyone else tries this and has success, please post what you did, it'd be appreciated.

It is to my understanding that Pinacle Matrox enables mp2 importing into Premiere.
