Seeing as Publisher cuts out whenever it's uploading, I have been using word to upload my site via FTP to Spaceports. I design on Publisher, View as Web Page, Save Web page to desk top, open in word, fix hyperlinks and upload. Everytime I upload a new page the old page's pictures disappear. What the hell is going on?

make sure your HTML is pointing to the right directories under <img src="(filename)">. sometimes when editing a page in publisher or composer, the program will automatically save a COPY of the image to wherever you store your HTML page, and use THAT path, not the one you specify.
if you're SURE the path is right, then make sure your images are there. just because you tell the program to upload the HTML page don't assume it'll upload all the images associated with it.

I think i have worked something out.
Everytime I upload a page seperatley, the new images take over the old images. The new jpeg01 or whatever takes over the old jpeg01 and so the old one gets done away with. This means all I need to do is rename the images in the new file from where the old one left off and then change it in the HTML too. How would I go about doing that? Unlike FrontPage2000, Publisher won't allow me to view HTML.

Well, it seems to me this Publisher is a true pain in the... rear.

I think you would be better of writing the code yourself which is quite easy to learn or use a WYSIWYG editor like Frontpage (never used it) or Dreamweaver (Great Program). Or you could always look for a free one (I think Frontpage express is free and comes with Internet Explorer).

The absolute best (and free) html editor that I have ever used is called 1st page 2000 by Evrsoft. I downloaded it, but can't remember where from. It will let you put loads of Java and html tricks in automatically. in conjunction with Frontpage express, I love it!
