You are squeezing a lot of questions into one post, and likely to get fractional answers and parts of the question missed. You'll find it more effective to seperate questions into small subsets than lumping them all together.

Photoediting software will allow you to hand paint efects on individual frames if it supports the filmstrip file format. Painting on individual frames in sequence to render effects is known as rotoscoping. In the past it was done by actually painting on frame blow ups or by tracing frame blow ups, doing artwork on the paper holding the tracings, and rephotographing the artwork.

With Corel Photopaint 7, you can load most video files into it to rotoscope etc. Media Studio 2.5 is an ok program for putting together your video. Axagon i havnt played with much. Truespace 3 se is a cut down version of truspace 3, so there is a lot you cant do with it, i have not played with this much either. I dont have poser or bryce.
You have pretty much the same software that I have, copycat

Bryce 3D is nice for rendering 3D scenery/lanscapes/etc., but you'll have to play with it to make it look photorealistic (it usually has an artificial 3D look to it). I have PhotoPaint 9 (love it!) and it opens the filmstrip (FLM) format; i don't know about 7 though.

how can you merge an object with every frame.
when i first started using this it allowed me to load a video in and rotoscope stuff in.
right! well you could also rotoscope say a new sky in and then merge it with every frame
that was in the avi file, now i cant do it how can i do it again?
