Hi there,I've been on this forum for a week or so, and thought I'd plug my own project here. www.raamw3rk.net It's not finished yet, almost though. There will be a pre-premiere march 15th in Rotterdam. I haven't had much time to add to the website lately, because of hard work on the project. I plan to put up trailers and inspired by thi website I think I will do some background info on the effects. For now it's mainly a lot of stills, but thought you might want to check it out... Thanks |

Techincally this should be in the Trailer Home, but forget about that, the site is soooo good. Everybody's website rocks except for mine which is non-existant!!I loved the 'Behind the Scenes' section, and especially the complete CG skyline of the city. And the entirely computer generated character. How old are you and how long have you been into this BTW? Top Stuff, really, really good. Blew me away. ------------------ I once had 509 posts...but now I don't. |

Oh, yeah sorry, I'll try and post it in the trailers section, too. I'm 26 just graduated from Art School in the Netherlands, but most of the experience was by just doing. Which is why this project is so valuable. Actually I never touched 3D software untill I started this project, about 1,5 years ago, but i learned a lot. I'm hoping to put some serious backgrounds on the site soon, so that you might actually benefit from it, now it's just cool pictures... I'll answer any questions though... Barend |

Just had a quick flick through. Absolutely Brilliant! Very clean and professional. Will be it be available for download or video tape/CD after the release?------------------ Sausage's Lounge Area |

great site, man! i must've looked at at least 20 stills. Very nice. Were these shot on film? Seems like it's a complex project. Neat story. Let us know when we can watch it! |

Wow, thanksI'll try to update the site soon, since I'm suddenly getting a lot of traffic... I definately want to put up trailers, and probably later the whole thing. I'm not sure how much longer this forum will be open (and I've only been here for about a week ...) but I'll try to let you know. It might be nice to distribute it on CD or tape, I'll look into the hassle of that. But now that i't almost finished, people should be able to watch it... It was all shot on a Sony VX1000, the images can get a little noisy in low lighting situations... But after some tweaking in After Effects the images generally look fine. I'll probably try and send it to little festivals around the world, but have no ideas of of the chances of getting screened. Thanks for all the response, and if you have any more questions. Bring 'em on! Barend | |
