Hi, as I stated, I am using 3D studio max r3 at my school for a project. I have learned how to (by using net tutorials) make a simple bone hierachy (sp?), but how do I attach this to a model so when I move the bones, the model moves. I can't find a tutorial on this. If anyone could help...Thanks, Mark |

Well, I think the boning prosesses in A:M and MAX are the same. You have to designate the control points to a certain bone. Try selecting the bone, and then using a group or lasso tool (or something similar) to highlight all of the conrol points for that bone.-Chase ------------------ "...but movies cost millions of dollars to make. Where can I find the "Skin" utility like what panel is it on? And also, do you know any tutorials on it, the one I tried, the tutorial had been deleted and I got a "NO PAGE TO DISPLAY" error, so I can't find it.Thanks, Mark |
