Try making a bitmap the size of your video (perhaps 640x480} and make it all black except for a binocular shape (the two overlapping circles) in pure blue. Then bringit in a program like premiere and key out the blue.------------------ J.D. Morgan Visit No Budget Films at http://nbfilms.tripod.com |

If you have photoshop 6.0 and after effects you can use the gradient feature with black as one colour and tranparency as the other colour to create a haze at the edges of the binoc view. If you don't have photoshop six it could take a few extra steps. As suggested by sarge use a bitmap with the binoc shap cut out then create another bitmap over that that ahs a gradient black into white... play with the opcaity of that layer so as to appear hazy at the edges of the view. You might have to play witht he contrast and brightness of the video layer because the white in the haze layer will increase the brightness and decrease the contrast depending on the opacity of the haze layer.I have the cinelook plugin for After Effects.. never tried one for premiere. ------------------ www.frank.milne.com [This message has been edited by Frank Milne (edited 03-06-2001).] |
