Author Topic: Editing in MPEG-2 vs AVI Danny

I can edit in either MPEG 2 or AVI. I know MPEG 2 is DVD quality and takes up less space than AVI. But my question is, which is better to edit in? Is AVI higher quality, work better for editing, faster, etc? Or would it be stupid to edit in AVI if I had the option to use MPEG 2?
What do you guys think?
