does it exist...? if so where------------------ what can surround you, choke, blind you, but cant be held onto: thats right Smoke. so Watch out.....cause smoke effects is here. |

well, there's only about a million AlamDV posts in this forum it's been advertised a lot and it seems like it might be pretty good (for lightsabers, light flashes, muzzle effects, etc.) i have yet to try it, but you can download a beta of it (check a thread below this one, it's hard to miss). Other than that, i got a trial version of Boris Red, but i doubt you can save anything with it. Most good stuff is not free.... |

Well, you have your now public beta of AlamDV (which I still havn't really tried).There's also other shareware/freeware programs (correct me if I'm wrong) such as Blender and MainVision (which was formerly Axogon). Check those out, and they should get you started. |

Yeah, try to fond and download Axogon 1.0 which was the only free version. It's brilliant but takes a while to understand. As for ALAMDV, the watermark (I hear) stops it from being free.------------------ Sausage's Lounge Area |

cool thanks........but in such a big world web there would be more free software. for fx .......come on lets fill this post with free software links so in the future once this site is closed, people can still look at this archive to find decent freee software |
