Thanks M&M.
You are right that the sound should be higher.
My friend and I found that was fun just to say yeah.

jabinya, it works for me... try again!

Any other comments??

Okay, first off the bad stuff:

-The "plot" really doesn't make any sense. And for a short movie, using such a LONG intro crawl is a big no-no. It's looks more like a cop-out, i.e., makes it look like you can't tell the story visually.
-Quite a few jump cuts here and there. But I guess you already knew that. Also a few screen direction reversals.
-BAD SOUND! And why are the guns silent in the earlier scene?
-Less than stellar acting (actors are too stiff)

The good stuff:
-There is some interesting cinematograohy in general:
- Fast-paced editing overall; I love the way the early sequence with bad guy shooting towards the good clone is edited, with fast camera movement (but where's the sound?). Lots of good stuff in the final scene
- The camera is very dynamic overall, which looks good in the action scenes.

There is more to tell, but it's late and I'm tired

Thanks for your comments.

This was first movie my friend and I had done which was longer than 5 minutes, and it was too much work to show otherwise the story.

Can everyone read the beginning of film with the text?

Anyone else???

i really like the camera movement at 3:57 (the camera moves past the good guy and turns upside down). i would like to see it done with a steadicam and a little faster .
In my opinion the lighting could be improved. The picture is too bright, sometimes the faces are overexposed. But probably its just the video compression...
Could you tell me what the french song at the end of you film is called? I have to get this song
BTW: Have you done all those muzzle flashes in post? If so, very well done!!

Danke schön!!
You are totally right about the over exposure. We weren't sure how to use that old camera (VHS-C), and it was done unpurposely to have the film with bars on the top and the bottom, and for it to be in black and white. Luckily, it gave a nice atmosphere to the film.
The great song at the end is from the group SAEZ, and it is called Jours étranges (strange days)

All of thos muzzle flashes were done on computer with Ulead Media Studio Pro. I think there are about 160 muzzle flashes in the film!!!

Any other comments?

I have that same program here. Maybe you can help me out with a few problems I have. I can only capture the video and use the basic Video editor on it. Thou I have seen you can use things like the blue screen and others, but I just can't figure out how to get it to work.
I'd be very happy if you could Email me and tell me how us this program better.

P.S. Like the movie but it was long to down load on a modem, but worth it.

All times are ET (US)
