MML&M originally posted this funny video about a week ago but the site he recommended gives me a grainy B&W video. Big Jim recommended the humor site and the first few times I went there, all was fine. Now when I try to download the video, I get a message saying "can't open." I went directly to the site and tried to download some of the other videos and got the same message. Does this mean that the problem is at the site? I am not very comp literate. I would have posted this on the comp forum except this is where the original post was found. Thanks for any help. I really would like to save this file to disk if anyone can tell me what the problem is. Thanks, again! |

hey man, you didn't like the clip? the original isn't that much better, to tell you the truth. but hey, maybe big jim can send you his copy.and be careful next time! you will probably get your wrist slapped for the britney spears naked thing.  ------------------

No wrist slappage for this infraction - just a gentle reminder that the posting guidelines state to make your subject header relevent to your post and not some off the wall meaningless statement. We'd ALL appreciate Britteney Spears naked I'm sure, but it has nothing to do with your post. If you want people to take you seriously this isn't the way to do it.Try to correct this in future. Well, the 9meg file SEEMS to be downloading correctly from:
http://humor.inept.net/videos/salmon.mpg He COULD have had server problems or something when you last tried to access the video. The guy who runs the site has run from server to server in the past, so it wouldn't surprise me. Try going to this page: http://humor.inept.net/videos.html Its towards the top, and is of course titled, Salmon.mpg. Anyways, RIGHT CLICK on the file and select Save As. Then pick your folder and let the downloading begin! Anyways, that should be it. If there happens to be some problem before this download finishes, or when I try to open it, I'll just post it here. ~BJS EDIT: The video downloaded fine, and its also a fairly good copy. Probably a VCD MPEG.

found it at a store called Hot Topic in my area mall, u may be able to find it at Spencer Gifts or any kinda store like that------------------

Yeah, I guess there was just a temp problem. Everything downloaded fine this time!
And for everyone's info: I am 34 yrs old so its a wonder I even know who Britney Spears is much less how 2 spell her name! I don't personally like her music and she's kinda cute in a "Lolita" kinda way, but I've seen cuter. I guess just the thought of some of you younger members getting your fingers tied together scrambling to double-click on this post prompted me 2 do it! Sorry 2 disappoint and it won't happen again! |
