Hey, I've been on the boards for half a year now, so I think It's time I show you some of my work. Go to my website, click on movies, and then The Chase. Right Click on the "Watch it" link and save it.This was my first suspensful movie. I mainly do comedy and spoofs. Tell me what you think of it. It's encoded in DIVX and is about 8 MB. Watch it! Well
The shots looked nice but the panning camera work was really sketchy. It wouldnt smoothly follow the jogger, but rather quickly jut forward every so often to catch up with his progress. Also, the "protagonist view" or whatever you want to call it was kinda sketchy too. It bumped around a lot and reminded me far too much of another independaent feature about some kids who get lost in the woods...
Was this just shot by you and the actor? Thats what it seems like. The music was cool...where the hell do I recognize it from? The pace of editing is nice and the ending is unexpected. Keep up the good work dude.

yeah, that was cool. nice video work (the only jumping pan i saw was at the end, otherwise, the camera was pretty smooth in the wide shots). where is that music from? it sounds familiar to me too. |

my Divx doesn't work so i couldn't see the video. I think the music is from the matrix? ------------------

Yeah that last shot of him running down the street is probably the only regret I have about the movie. This was filmed with just me and the actor (No Budget Films). And yes, the music is from The Matrix, its the "Hotel Ambush" scene. thanks for watching ------------------
