Sneak Preview trailer for our upcoming short film called: Jessica, Brush Your Hair.What does everyone think?

hmm... do you want my honest opinion? it looks kinda dorky. the "hang out with you in the mirror" line has got to go. interesting editing, though. the coloring and flashing imagery was an interesting paradox to match a simple subject. the audio was not even, and while that might have been on purpose, it got kindof annoying. i wouldn't say it was bad. maybe tell a little more about what's going to happen in the short film. right now i only know what i knew from reading the title of the film. give the viewer a little more to digest in the trailer, and tell them something about the film that they wouldn't know by just hearing the title. is it about peer pressure issues? (i.e. everyone else wants her to have a hairstyle to fit in) is it a cultural problem? why doesn't Jessica want to brush her hair? and why is she being pressured to do so? you don't have to give details (after all, it's a short film) but just lead us into the story a little more. Then the trailer might be more appealing.sorry if i seem very negative. i understand it is a comical trailer that's not to be taken too seriously, but i hope maybe i've been a little helpful too. |

- I don't feel you comments are negative at all, in fact, the are appriciated. Thoughts like yours is what we were looking for.
- The "hang out with you in the mirror" line is crucial due to that probably being the only clue as to what this short is about.

It was kinda difficult to create a teaser for such a short film without giving away the entire show.

I'm going to start making a horror film title "Night of the Freaking reaplayer shorts". What better way to ruin a good piece of cinema art? Realplayer. |

That is odd because I have never had any problems with watching video with Realplayer. I always thought the video looked great. Never a pause or a lock up. I do have a 2 way cable modem, maybe that helps. I'm not sure.------------------

It's possible that my sharing bandwidth with the entire office is making realplayer crappy for me. That forces me to really like full download films. ------------------
