Does anyone know where I could purchase thin, 36" carbon fiber rods? |

YOu couild try come sporting good stores for fisihing, the rods are usuallyt made of carbon fibre, or you could give some industrial, buildall comapnys, like home depot, or lansing build all.Some companies who make fishing rods may be able to direct you to a whole saler. what do you need em for schnarf? peace |

look into surveying equipment suppliers too, they might have something like that. maybe some tent manufacturers or something like thta. you can buy carbon fiber from fiberglast.com later

hmmm, need some saber rods schnarf?  what's carbon fiber? how is it different from plastic for example? |

carbon fiber is similar to fiberglass cloth. its a reinforcing material used to strengthen resins. its stronger and lighter then glass fibers, but more expensive. if you want i can bust out a catalog to quote from.  plastic is a generic term really, since there are tons of different kinds. some of the suppliers on my FX links page may sell it, but i think (cant say for sure) that fiberglast is the only place i've seen that sells carbon fiber "as is"
