A buddy of mine is doing a project using a reflection technique which casts a ghostlike image on a piece of glass. I know it is an old stage trick, but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of this technique. If anyone knows the name and some info on the correct way to pull off this illusion please respond. Thanks!

Maybe an easier way would be to just shoot your ghost on a black background then superimpose it with your editing program. You could photograph the ghost using a lot of light so that it is really over exposed. Then, in your editing program, set the transparency to 50% or more. If your ghost is a CG model you can do the same thing. It might also help if you shoot the ghost out of focus.
