Would anyone be interested finding a way to produce a low budget GE Mini-gun? I would like to make one, and make a how-to to distribute for free so that others can have a chance to make one. Email me if you are interested. Just so no one, Mainly Admins, get confused I am talk about a NON-WORKING-DEMO-PROP. No firing.... not even blanks.

a friend made one, well not a copy, but very close. used aluminum tube, acrylic and a drill motor to build the barrels. pretty cool to see in action.

If you need some ideas or whatnot just email and i'll pick his brain about how he did it. I havent seen too much demand for a gg, but i think they're cool looking

search the web for gatling gun plans. there's a site that has plans and parts for a .22 cal hand cranked gatling gun. they claim that since it's from the 1800's and hand cranked it legal. meets all atf laws.

in japan they once made a completely functional jesse ventura pellet-firing mini gun. it shot 6000 rounds a minute. i would love to have that. i'd shred up the squirrels and local dogs. no foreign dogs, though, i don't wanna travel.

hes computer-less so any tutorials about it would have to be done by your friendly neighboorhood crazy lou, and i dont know if i'm up to it. I asked him for some pics already, and i know how he did a lot of it, so maybe something will get cooked up.

At the least i'll post the pics, and give a description of what they are

Ok, I think I am going to use a DC Motor to power it with a push button on the handle, and a good rechargeable battery. If I made the barrels close to 3 feet how much horse power do you think I would need? How much can I expect to spend on these items? I really wanna do this so help me out and I'll Try to make a tutorial out of it and a parts list and help ya'll to build one......

well, trying to spin barrels that long that arent geared will quickly eat your battery or fly apart and whomp you some how. gearing them, and the motor balancing them carefully working all this out is the hard part.

Try finding a childrens power wheels and pulling the gearbox and motor, they're cool and very useful. I've seen them for sale in surplus catalogs for less then $5(usd)

Do you know of any such catalogs around? maybe a net address? I think my grandpa can help me with that part... he was a mechanic, and a welder and a fabricator.

Crazy, could we maybe email each other, too? You seem to have a good idea of what you are doing in this area.... more so than I. Maybe I could send you some of my drawing plans and you could look over em? I mean only if you want to, no obligation.

Cool send 'em my way and as soon as i get those pics scanned I'll post 'em

If you head over to my links pages i think i have some of the websites over there, I think that some of them are on the FX page and some are on the hobby page, i'll have to go look to make sure. I know that my godfather has a bunch of those cars sitting out behind his barn for parts. I might be able to pull at least a gearbox out of one, dont know what shape the motors are in though.
