how to you achieve a chrome look on a metal blade....what do you use to polish it to bring it to a chrome finish....and not to rust.....(no paint or chrome dip idea) |

you can buy a silver polishing agent called Silvol that will make silver shine like new. really good. a little home grown suggestion is take an airbrush and coat the sword with future floor wax. It is really tuff, really clear, and nice n shiny.Good luck |

Depends on what kind of metal it's made of. If it's a stainless steel replica, there are a bunch of chemicals you could get from cutlery places that'll take off rust and other gunk. If the sword's made from carbon steel (like real ones), I don't think it'll ever have that chrome look you're looking for. The shiniest it'd get is where it has that kind of dull, grayish, glint. |
