Does anyone have a good, reliable, CHEAP site for PAL video equipment? Reason being, PAL has more lines, more information, plays back at 25 fps, (film is 24 fps) and there is no pull-down, NTSC, 29.97 fps calculation to do when you transfer video to film. Thanks...Sarge |

hmmm, i've seen some video places on the net selling PAL stuff lately. unfortunately i'v been to busy laughing lately over all the stupidity to tell you any of the addresses.I've also seen stuff on ebay thats supposedly only been used to film one show/movie/event for the same reasons you gave above, but of course ebay stuff goes for more then it's usually worth. Try the equipment places themselves? later TOm

I'm not sure about CHEAP, but I do know that due to popular demand, Canon has started to offer the PAL XL-1 (and POSSIBLY the GL-1, I don't know) in North America. |
