I have a very small desktop clamp "tripod" and a wide angle lens. What else do I need to make filming inside a car easier.

Careful Red Stranger! It might get closed down because this could pose a safety hazard If you are filming in an SUV this might be easier simply because they are larger. Maybe if its a car that you could like remove the windshield of or something and shoot close as not to reveal the edges, you know It might work, Good Luck

Yeah, how do you plan on filming it? From inside the car itself? Or from outside the car looking in? We (I) need to know to give you info.

*neither of these ways will pose safety issues if done properly. And don't even think of removing the windshield...you don't have to.

I'll be filming from inside the car while it is moving and at some points outside of the same car parked in my driveway with a huge green curtain surrounding it. All depending on the situation. If it is not a good situation to be filming while the car is moving, I'll use the greenscreen. When it poses no threat, I will be in a moving car. Does that help a little.

They scare the crap out of me, but you can rent a camera mount that goes on the outside of your car that looks in. With a polarizing filter to cut out the glare this would make for a nice shot, but not with my camera please :-).

OK. Yeah, you can rent a car camera mount and they are not that expensive either, but It sounds like you're not going for that particular shot. It looks like your original setup will work fine. I would look into a polarizer to eliminate glare from the window glass and be sure to light that greenscreen evenly! Don't let the green reflect on your car! get some dulling spray and some flags. Good luck

Normally we would park the car on a truck, and have the truck drive around, this way you can film any way you like...

However if you decide to go for the greenscreen option, do some tests first. Unless you have some experience with chromakeying, you will definately get some surprises. It's better to be prepared. On this and other forums, you will find loads of tips on chromakeying.
