Well, you've got a couple of choices:1. Get an analog capture card. Take any analog video signal into your computer. Simple, cheap, not the greatest quality, but it does the job.
2. Sony makes an analog to DV converter. RCA or S-Video jacks in, firewire out. Runs about $500, but those I've talked to that have it like it. Of course, to get the video into your computer, you'd need a firewire card.
3. Get yourself a Digital8 Camera. I've got one, and use it to take analog 8mm and Hi8 tapes to digital all the time. Quality is excellent. You'd need a firewire card for this one, too, though.
