1. Does anyone know of an anamorpic lense for the GL1?

2. Could you use Premiere to squeese an anamorphic image into a letterboxed image for a 4:3 tv?

I was reading a review of the GL1 today and it said that the GL1 did not support interchangeable lenses. being one of the 2 weaknesses they said the camera had, the other being no audio level control.

No interchangable lenses like the XL1, but you can use wide angle adapters with it. Please check out the post entitled "Does anyone have a Canon GL1".

I'm pretty sure Century Optics offers some nice anamorphic lenses. They're digital quality, so they'll probably cost upward of $300. Be sure to get one that will fit the GL1's filter diameter (58mm), step down rings just don't work for anamorphic lenses.

I believe you could "squeese" the image to fit 4:3 TV. You could use the crop filter.
