Topic: anyone use the studio pctv?

does any one use it? if so, is it any good for video capture and exporting? im thinking about getting it cause it looks kinda good. also does it work with premiere?------------------

I'm using the Pinnacle DC10+ (also from the Studio family). It's a great card if you want to perform analog capture and digital output. I think the PCTV is more for people use just want to use there PC as a VCR. The PCTV is only capable of 320x240 whereas the DC10+ is capable of 640x480. So, if your camera is anything above VHS (i.e. Hi8, SVHS, VHS-C) then go for the DC10+ or you won't be getting the quality nessacery for your format. I'm not sure how much the PCTV goes for, but the DC10+ is only $200. | |
