Okay I can get a video input device for $20 but it doesn't have output and I have no room in my cpu for a video capture card. How would I solve this?Micah

ok, what you need to do, is get that input device, and look at the side with all of the computer gadgetry (for lack of better word). find the circuit that connects the input jack to the card itself. then, take a small rat, put it into your freezer for a couple of hours, then hit the card at that exact point as hard as you possibly can. this wont solve your problem but it will look really funny. sorry i cant help ya'------------------ I was normal once..... I seriously wouldn't trust any "video input device" for $20, and if it doesn't have output what is it exactly? One thing you can do is get a TV scan converter, there's one called TView I think. This plugs into your VGA cable and then into any TV or VCR, so the image that would appear on your monitor is instead run up on your TV, which you can then record onto tape. The quality isn't the best, but they are useful and simple, and you can probably find one for about $60. I hope that helps... ------------------ Doug Spice Mojumbo Jambalaya Productions Los Angeles, CA | |
