I don't want a side shot that covers up the sword from behind the character. I would really like an impalement similar to "Saving Private Ryan" when Mellish is stabbed. How would you shoot it?

Hi. You can get plastic daggers that as you push then in, they contract. You can cut a little bit of the tip, fill it with ketchup or fake blood (they're hollow), and as you stab the fake blood oozes out like toothpaste. Here's what the daggers look like:

hey, about those knives...where would you get them? i haven't seen any stores that have em and haven't run across any websites either...any help would be great.
oh, and of course, by the word knives...i mean good looking ones....don't know how convincing it'd be to use a translucent neon green knife.hehe

I have a small 8 in. one. It has a silver blade and a black handle. Look at toys r us or the dollar store. If it's like green or sompin, paint it. They're like 2 bux.
