I'd go with a model or a puppet... You might lose a finger if you painted a cat yellow...

Whenever a cat is dirty (or painted) it will just sit there and lick itself. So DON'T, save yourself the trouble and just *DON'T*.

ok well about the puppet idea, i won a stuffed pikachu at the sate fair last summer, but it doesn't look very lifelike, i was wondering if anybody had ideas on how to make it look more realistic, like, camera angles, wires, slaves or oils or what? thanks.

ok...first thing u need to do is chum up with one of the female execs at ILM. then, after seducing her, convince her to gather the leading CGI animators there, and have her foot the bill for creating a completely computer generated pikachu. then, for closer shots, have either Rob Bottin or Stan Winston create a life-size pikachu animatronic doll. this way, u can rig explosives to it and blow it up into itty bitty gory chunks and make everyone happy. god...i HATE pokemon... but seriously...ur best bet is to use the puppet, shoot from ur wrist up, and add a voice over...thats the best ur gonna get short of seducing Lucas himself

Pokemon's animation is so superdeformed anyway how could you make it look lifelike.
Well, to make a life like critter you might have to make one yourself. Latex puppet covered in good looking fake fur is a good start. Assuming that's unavailable buy some realistic fake fur. If yellow is unavailable try some white fur and RIT brand dye, (it's the strongest) or get fox red fur and sew a Ryuchu (or whatever pika's big brother is). Unstitch your doll to find the right pattern and base the new doll after that. This of course assumes you or someone you know if killer with a sewing machine.

Either way try a taxidermy supply company for realistic eyes and beaver teeth.

Is none of these are availabe I'd go with salves, lots of salves.

By the way, how old are you????
