I need a good way to add in a muzzle flash so it looks like the gun I have is really fireing. I know about using a lens flare in Photoshop, but right now, It is not working with what I have, and I need this fast, any suggestions?------------------ Feria Films 2000 |

I wouldn't use flares, too hokey lookin'. If you're going to be in Photoshop anyway, just plain paint the muzzle flashes in. Freeze frame your favorite gunfight sequence from the big screen, and quickly sketch some of the shapes you see muzzle flashes in. Then just recreate the same thing in Photoshop. When editing, you can a white out or nearly white out frame just before the muzzle flash frame. This coupled with good sound effects will sell the gunshot.Have fun, Jesse |

Or as someone stated awhile back, just find a still frame from a movie or game with a muzzle flash, and mask it then cut and paste it into your own frame. It can't be copywrite infringement because it's just a flash of light, nothing unique. | |
