Uhm...I dont know what voice...regan..had..when she..was..possessed...but you can get good possession voices using a vocoder. There are some nice free software vocoders on the net, just takes a little looking. Or you can cheat and use soundforge effects on the vox. Or, if you have a soundblaster live, you can mess around with the DSP and get some pretty groovy vocoderesque effects. hope this helps. |

The voice of Reagan when she was possessed was done by an old time actress and they didn't alter her voice too much. I heard this woman once on a TV show interview and she sounded like Harvey Fierstein (Robin William's gay brother in Mrs. Doubtfire). He's got a voice like a chainsaw and so did this woman. Too many cigarettes in her younger years. One of the few female baritones I ever heard. They did alter it somewhat with some voice synthesizer as I recall - not sure. But it wasn't much - didn't need to be.FXMan | |
