I need musical scores for my movie and don't have enough(any) money to have someone do it for me, so does anyone know of a freeware-OR-low priced software that can do this? thanks-Chase |

band-in-a-box has 'styles' that you pick, then it generates music. 'fruit loops' is a musical cut-and-paste' program to gen music.you might also search for some shareware programs on http://www.download.com, http://www.shareware.com. [This message has been edited by cdolsen (edited 01-07-2001).] |

Acid Xpress is a loop based program thats free top dowload. Go to www.sonicfoundry.com , click on downloads, and get it. Of course, to make a good score, you have to have many loops, which are like $50 a CD. For that, you could buy a stock CD with pre-made songs. There's also a great program called Smart Sound. It will make a song that exactly fits your movie. You tell it how long and when to play certain elements like quick cresendos, and it will make a song perfect for your movie. Costs $200 though.
