Just about any shotgun mic from AT should make you happy. You'd probably want hypercardioid or supercardioid. Most of AT's mics are low-Z with XLR connections for the best possible signal.

You want a directional mic. Sennheiser shotgun mics are my favorites.

Sennhesier is definitely another good brand. Also check out Beyerdynamic - I think they make some affordable shotgun mics.

We have, and use, a couple AT815's and an AT835. They are wonderful mikes, cost about $250 Canadian, and are rugged as hell. Sennheisers are great, maybe even better than the AT's, but cost WAY more. And the Beyerdynamics have, in our experience given good results, but are a little more sensitive to rough (relatively) handling... that is, they are more sensitive to boom noise and wind noise with no audible increase in quality, as compared to the AT's.
