what's the best and greatest priced microphone that i should buy? i need it for sound effects, as well as narration. |

IMHO, you will want a cardiod pattern mike. For narration, you will want a good foam cover for the head to cut down on breath noises. For sound effects, you can use the same setup, and run it into a good tape deck or DAT.Sarge |

Brand new, about $79. Sometimes if you buy from www.musiciansfriend.com when they have a sale, you can get a free 20' cable with it.
