I have enough to buy a cheap microphone ($50) I need to be able to tape it to a broomstick and use it as a boom, record FX, and possibly even the odd singing of a song. Am I looking for Unidirectional, omnidirectional, shotgun? Are Radioshack units serviceable or will you kick me off the board if I buy one?  ------------------
