Here it goes... I can do everything to make the "lightsaber effect" but it is hard for me to color over it because it blurs way to much when swung. If anyone could tell me would color to paint the dowel, and what size it should be it would be valuable information.

You should alternate colors on the prop lightsaber one should be a light color ie. yellow and the other dark ie.black. |

Its suppose to be 30". some people say its 36" but thats way to long and they have ppeenniiss issues. You should paint horizontal contrasting stripes on the dowel.Heres an example: http://freeweb.pdq.net/smokin/rotoscope/ Damn I just scrolled down and saw someone said the same thing I did. Oh well go there anyways. |

I just put a photograph of a saber with a band-painted rod attached. Turns out it can use a lot fewer bands than I originally thought! Check it out: http://freeweb.pdq.net/smokin/rotoscope/ |

I always double post because My computer is always taking forever to load and it times out and I reload and it double posts. Darelrex is there any word on the whole spaceship greenscreen tutorial you were thinking of?

I might try it this weekend. It's a lot harder than I suspected it would be. |
