Author Topic: After Effects - STARWARS opening scene question!? Insaneint

Hello!

I went to this site-
http://www.digitalproducer.com/pages/may_the_force_of_after_effects_b.htm

-to make the opening rolling words part of starwars for a SW movie I'm making. I followed the directions up to one part which I'm not sure about.

They say near the end the best way to make it look good is to-- "apply the Mesh Warp effect from the Production Bundle package. To reduce our grid to four points lower the Rows/Columns to 1 each. Move the Upper Left and Upper Right corners inward on the x axis. You may have to adjust the handles to get a straighter line."

Do you know how to do this??

THANKS!

I'm not sure about that method, but I would try this method:
http://www.livedv.com/magazine/1998/0198/0198meyer.html

I have used it several times and it produces EXCELLENT results.
