If i was to make a lot of fake blood for my movie (i'm talking gallons of the stuff), what would be the cheapest way? It does not have to be the most realistic. I want to have blood spattered on the walls and floor in a few murder scenes. I want to give these scenes a surrealist mood by putting ,ore blood than the victim's body could have contained.

Any ideas?

I had to use shampoo with red dye once. I covered an actress in a couple of gallons. She wasn't thrilled about the taste and the clean up wasn't easy, but one thing I can say is that shampoo is cheap. Try to gain access to the Price Club/CostCo type stores. Gallons of chocolate syrup or corn syrup at very cheap prices.
