Ok, I will post the full dick smith formula. This is an improved version used by most professionals toady, the way it is mixed is different but this is the best way that I have found

1 pint cornsyrup
1 oz. red food coloring
2 1/2tsp yellow food coloring
1/2 tsp zinc oxide powder(from pharmacies)
1 oz. water
1 oz photo-flo(optional flow agent, toxic if used in mouth)

I recommend mixing this with an egg beater. Put the cornsyrup in a bowl along with the water. Put the powder in a small container and add a small amount of water to mix into a paste. Add the red and about 1 1/2 tsp of the yellow. Put the powder into the bowl with the cornsyrup and mix with the beater. Add the rest of the yellow and mix some more. Beat it until it is mixed together and has a smooth texture. Then if it won't be used in the mouth add the photo-flo. The photo-flo helps the blood flow and soak clothes naturally.

There is also HYDRO's tide blood which is non-bleach ultra tide, a lot of red, and a tiny bit of blue.

Yeah, while gore master has the Julia Child recipe, if you're running low on time and money, just use the old fashioned corn syrup, red food coloring, and water recipe.(btw, mix all three ingredients in a bowl) This works just fine, but i never tried gore master's recipe, it might work better.

Trust me, it IS better. I have tried just the plain old ways and hundreds of other cheap ways. You nedd to add yellow. Most people neglect that. It should be orangish when smeared. This is actually not very expensive(especially if you don't use photo-flo). You can just mix them in a bowl but it turns out better when you mix it with an egg beater. I always just used my mother's old mixing bowl. If you or no one in your family has one just mix it in a bowl.

I know I will get hell for it, but I have a little mix:
100g corn syrup
20g red food color
10g yellow food color
8g dishwashing detergeant
20-50g wheaten cornflour(to taste, I use 25)
I am sure gore master will give me the old "I saw a mans brains hanging from his butt"(j/k)type thing, but it is another thing to try. I do like gore master's formula, but I use both. Be sure to shake this every day or the flour will soon get stuck on the lower half of the container.
Peace.

Sigh, we've been through this before. Dish washing liquid is ok, pretty much a step below photo-flo. It doesn't work quite as well but does work some. Use it in place of photo-flo and be carefull how much you add(it can make it very translucent). I don't know about the flour thing. I tried something similar but it didn't come out right. I have heard other people having success with it though so you might as well try it. And it wasn't hanging out of his butt, it was his mouth. The one with the butt is a different story.

P.S. Got crack?

hehehehehe....
The dish washing liquid is for if you can not find or don't want photo-flo. I like photo-plo better, but in a rush I just use the liquid. If you use photo-flo use less than you would of the liquid.
And yes, sometimes the flour thing turns out bad. But most of the time the mess is worth it.
Thanks for being understanding.

Even with the photo-flo the mix would not be expensive.
Photo-flo is not all that expensive
