make a bunch of zombies grab a few people and make a "human sandwhich" i guess that could be taken the wrong way...

umm, have them pick someone up like a (depending on your part of the country) sub, hoagie, grinder, footlong, etc. one can start eating at the feet the other can munch on brains maybe you could do a "lady and the tramp" thing and have them kiss/and or start eating each other when they're done with the now dead person

How able are your zombies? Are they able to use tools (Sticks and stones?) If not, mimic an attacking dog, If so, Have them whap the crap out of a person with a big stick to disable them, then eat at their convinence... Personally, I got a kick out of how the zombies in Return of the living dead were able to use tools, talk, and even mimic human behavior enough to lure people (Food) into a trap. They were also fast and strong, not lumbering rigor addled stiffs. Although I think stiff and lumbering is how a real zombie would act I still liked the new approach. At least new when the movie came out anyway...
