Anyone know of a blood recipe that won't stain clothes/carpeting? Thanks

I think youll find more unicorns and leprechauns than stainless blood recipes.

Why not wear clothes you dont like and buy cheap carpeting. I see large rolls of decent 'new' carpeting (no 20 year old carpets or stained carpets or whatever) at yard sales for less than ten bucks quite often. I think if you were to buy a large roll of carpet and fit it to your floor over your existing carpet and have a plastic mat under it then you could get blood all over the floor and make some pretty cool gory scenes.

Unless you live with your parents, which would hamper that idea.

I would do that, but i'd need about 300 square yards of carpeting.

300 yards! Are you carpeting the entire house? Youd only need to carpet the areas your filming in.

If you don't mind my asking, what kind of scenes are you filming? What kind of an effect are you going for? Perhpas you use a small area of carpetting as thx1138 suggests, and create the overall backdrop, or effect, in post.

I'm filming a shooting at the student lounge area at my school (it's a very liberal private school, so they don't have a problem as long as it doesn't make a mess)
