I have this scene that is causing much stress amongst the ranks of our crew. In three months we have to film a scene in which we have a dog being hit by a car. We are going for as much realism as we possibly we can... without of course harming any animal. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a mart dog you can hav it play dead and cover it in fake blood (edible)

For the intial part i'ld just have the car back up and the sound effect of the dog being hit.
