Forgive me if this is a stupid question but it is for tha guys who are experianced in making movies and such. I am about to start filming a 17episode series this fall and I was just curious about something. As I said before forgive me if my question is stupid or naive. When you are shooting a scene I would assume you have your people memorize their lines before shooting the scene, but how much do you have them memorize at a time? I am not trying to overload my cast or make them think that what I am giving them to learn is impossible you know? Hopefully my question makes sense.Raynphyre "Christian Harris/Rumble" on The Amatuers |

Never actually done a movie i may not be the one to talk to, but i'ld get them to read over the entire script (to get the idead of what it is about) then have them memerize sections of it. This is what i am doing in my movie.
------------------ Well, if you can't do it right, improvise! If you will please check out my webpage @ http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Rampart/7160/index.html Good luck and have fun, Gnewbee |

Yeah, I have the actors read the script a few times, then just go a few scenes at a time. |

Unlike a play, they will not need to learn the entire script, but they should have an overall feel for the story and their character. When you shoot a scene it's really a good idea for the actors to know the entire scene without a break. This will make their reaction to the other characters seem more real. Otherwise it may come out looking chopped up. ACTING IS REACTING. CATMAN |
