Whenever I print from my computer to my vcr I get a vertical, transparent rainbow across the image. It is particularly bad when the scene doesn't have much color of its own. I am playing out to a 4 head vcr, however I'm not using a very high quality cord. Does someone else have this problem? Does any know how to fix it? And if its my cord does anyone know where to by high quality cords for a reasonable price on the internet? Thanks, Peter

You could go down to you friendly nieghborhood Radio Shack. Maybe purchase from a human, that would be fun. |

One of my multimedia instructors once said "Buy once, cry once". This means, buy the best you can, even if it hurts, as the quality and reliability you get will make up for the time lost buying cheap crap that breaks. I adhere to this philosphy, as for years I went with cheaper brands. Take it frome me, when you're under a deadline (personal or professional) and some cheap-ass cable gives out on you, you'll rue the day you didn't just fork over the dough for something that'll last and last.I reccommend "Monster Cables". They are very expensive, but the frustration they save will be worth it. I no longer ask myself "Is it the cables"? Good luck! |

I don't have a local Radio Shack, because I'm in Japan with the U.S. Military at the moment. I wish I did. I guess it probably is the cable. I'd better check the local P.X. to see if the've got a good video cable. | |
